A couch is an object in The Sims 2. Couches can be used by sims to sleep or to sit. Black couches are found by default in every guest room and the Manager's Suite, however they can be replaced with other couches or removed from the room.
No couches can be found in any other location apart from guest rooms and the Manager's Suite as they can only be bought from the store. There are sixteen types of couch available to purchase from the store at different times, eight regular and eight deluxe. Like other furniture, different couches are better suited to different rooms depending on the colour, however the colour doesn't affect a guest's stay or how much the room is worth.
